Peter McDonnell – Chief Executive
Peter McDonnell was appointed Chief Executive of Ryuta Financial & Investment Company on 7 March 2022. With over 30 years of experience in fund management, business development, and proposition leadership, he brings deep expertise and vision to the company’s growth journey.

Before joining Ryuta, Peter held several senior leadership roles at Standard Life Aberdeen, including:

• Managing Director – Standard Life Savings

• Managing Director – Marketing and Propositions

• Chief Investment Officer – Standard Life Wealth

Earlier in his career, he served as Head of Investment at Lloyds Private Bank, and also held influential positions at Aegon Asset Management and Scottish Widows Investment Partnership (SWIP).

Peter holds a BSc in Mathematics from the University of Manchester and is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment (CISI). His proven track record, strategic insight, and client-focused approach continue to drive Ryuta’s mission of delivering trusted, innovative, and sustainable financial solutions.
